I tend to over engineer everything I do. I decided on the Warn 16.5K just because I knew sometime down the road, when I finally had my truck setup the way I wanted, that it would close in on the 10K weight. Too close for a 10-12K winch capacity for me. Batteries, alternator and cables are in place to handle the draw. Air compressor will be separate. Everything functional for onroad use.
