Ridiculous knock

When I put my truck in four wheel drive and lock in the hubs in knocks really bad and very loud. Doesn't do it when hubs aren't locked. I have a new drive shaft all new ball joints and cv joints. Could it be the hubs not fully locking in? It has warn lockers by the way. If you know or have an idea let me know cuz I need the beast back operating asap.

I would put it up on 4 stands and try putting the 4 wheel in, and lock the hubs, put it in low gear and see if the hubs are locking or is the transfer case?
