Question about where to measure for ground clearance?

Im sure this is a pretty dumb question, but can anyone help me out? Where are you supposed to measure for ground crearance?

What Quad do you have....????

Normally it is Right at the Foot Peg mount for the Rear and then on Say a Honda 450r right where the frame starts to bend UP at an angle (or 22" in front of the front foot peg bolt)....

on a Yammi YFZ450 same for the rear.... Foot peg area.... then in the front also about 22" in front of the front foot peg bolt....
