Buying new ATV's

What would you suggest?

My wife and I are looking at purchasing a set of ATV's. We live in Colorado and plan to hit the ATV trails often. I know the '06 models are discounted and I'm looking for a good trail riding and hill climbing ATV to purchase within the next month to take advantage of closeout pricing. I grew up riding almost exclusively Honda's (Big Red 3-wheelers to be exact), so I'm not too familiar with some of the others out there.

Please post your recommendations and experiences with some out there. Thanks

Take a look at the kawasaki BF 750i's. I love mine as I have over 1400 miles on it now with no trouble's.

I have to admit that im looking at a yamaha Rhino to go along with the BF,might wanna take a look at them too.

I'd go over to Gander Mountain in Denver and get an Arctic Cat. They had have $500 rebates on the 06's and seem to be good machines.I was going to buy one but will probably wait another year. We run Honda Foreman 450's and they are tough but not smooth riding. Both have well over 15,000miles. Apparently the Cam Am 800 is pretty cool too.

I like the new V-Twin's on the Brute Force Kawasaki line.

The new bombardier atv line is pretty cool too, I got to ride the Renegade and the 800 EFI model lately. Both awesome 4wd quads, the Renegade is my favorite.

But I own a HONDA 400ex, had it for a few years and have no problems. Also had the F12X turbocharged jet ski up till about a few weeks ago. You cannot go wrong with reliability and just solid motors. So if you can get a deal on one of those jump on it like white on rice.

Definately look at the kawis. I've got an '06 brute force 750 and an older '02 prairie 650 and they both have a lot of power. The v-twin motors are awesome.

Thanks for the responses so far. I like going off recomendations rather than just shop blindly.

Dieseldonkey, whenever the weather warms up I might take you up on that offer.

Robert, I've seen your truck and I know you're all about more HP.... from any machine....

I had a Yamaha 400, now I have a Honda Foreman Rubicon (500CC). I love it, but my next will probably be the Brute Force 750, those things are just mean!
