hi hav 06 star 900000km with 475 isx has been pullin roadtrains all its life here in australia, oil change every 20000 km,threw no 1 out through the side non egr.have brought a 500hp isx new with egr, by changing the ecm ,wiring,extraust and turbo will this give us a non egr motor to repower our old girl and keep her happy for another life.what else will we need to do. thanks phill

Hi bro,it's obvious you are a big-time ISX guy-nice to see some other opinions on this board from time to time. I'm all CAT but i have a friend with an 06 565. He recently got into heavy haul and wants more (but reliable) power. Any suggestions on how he should go about it? Feel free to be as detailed as possible,i enjoy learning. I will say,an ISX with 7" straights sounds AWESOME! Wrench on!
