    I'm going to go with a 62/71 over an E.D. S480, Haisley Street DD, and i've been tinkering with the idea of building a log intake manifold which might provide easier access to the afc among other things. I learned very soon after i installed my old Valair K/C on my other truck that a single doesnt belong near a truck with any performance intentions in mind. It lasted to 500 hp, but couldnt handle the twins at all. I have pics of the flywheel and uneven warping when i had to pull the engine because it spun a rod bearing. ASU feels more expensive than it is. The expensive part is my rent more than anything else.

    Yeah, WyoTech is an expensive school. I got some money saved over the summer, I want to build the head sometime soon and do it all at once. P&P, bigger valves, port matched intake and exhaust manifolds, and valve springs. I built some better flowing IC pipes, kinda did a quick but crappy job the first time. 40 psi of boost comes online at ~1800 rather than 2000 RPM and EGT's stay to 1575 instead of passing 1600. Here at Laramie is 7200 ft, back home at 2000 I can slip my clutch in 4th gear so I need to upgrade that again, probably a SBC 3600 dual disk. My friend Greg (01_24valve) has an HT60 he would be interested in selling if you think you want it. I'm going to have E.D. build me an S475 eventually.

    yeah, by the time i had turned them it was too late. i was trying to hear/feel a click and didnt keep much track of how many times i had turned them. oh well, 4k kit with be easy.

    hey i got the injectors in and, OMG. now it will break my 37"s loose at70-75 mph. and the silver bullet does a really good job at cleaning up the smoke, suprisigly enough. EGT's will hit about 1800* though. they are street drivable, but they are smokey! just have to be really easy on the go pedal. haha
