I have a set of Ford Factory 18" Aluminum Wheels for my truck that I want to refinish. I picked them up used and want to cover up the former owners blemishes. I believe that I am going to have them Powder Coated Black, but want to make sure that this is the best option. I thought about paint, but felt that the Powder Coating would be more durable. Any thoughts? Look forward to hearing some input. Chris
powder is the way to go.. way more durable and alot easier to clean grime of as well.. with out scratching up a clear coat.. what kind of blemishes, just light scratches or something?
Yeah, they just have a bit of scratches and marks from wheel weights and such. I am planning on running the internal balancing beads with these to keep them clean looking.
I will try to, it's all about time and money, and I don't nearly have enough of either. Chris
