A Week ago a friend and I while doing some service on the lawn mower got a little carried away when we found the fuel screw on the pump. This tractor has a 4-cylinder kubota diesel in it which is rated at 22hp from the factory, we don't yet have any dyno number to find out what we gained.
Ya it have just started another season and it is still kicking strong, although i did install a pyro to keep tabs on the danger temps. They really don't get out of control i think its due to being flooded with some serious fuel. But by the way this thing has a hard life and works all summer.
Yup thats it i just played with the fuel screw, although it is limited now by the injectors. I hit the limit of those really quite fast only like 1 1/2 turns, and from there on out it makes no difference. The thing still runs the factory set 2600 RPM just with a lot more fuel to get it there faster.:sly:
what screw did you turn. i have a 4600DT, your tractor and mine have basicly the same pump. could you maby post a picture.
thank you
