Are there different springs for a VP 44 that will raise the RPMS to 4000. I know the P7100 has a 4000 spring kit... But I want this on my 24 valve without going with the Redline box or a P7100 Is there a spring kit for the 24 valve VP 44??????

Yup these guys are right all the spring in the p7100 pump does is control the gov. fly weights. The tougher the spring the more the fuel rack can move allowing higher RPM....or something like that. Go with the Redline or P-pump it like they said.

Doesn't the TST COMP fuel to over 4000 rpms. I think that on the TST website says that it does.

Is the P7100 mechanical or electronic injection, i thought they were mechanical?

so you would be converting an electronic truck to mechanical? I see this as a lot of work.

Yeah, Instead of having the VP44 you you would have the P7100 which means it will be a mechincal injected motor now. All I know is that it is expensive.

You can convert a VP 44 to P7100 for a little more than a redline box.. You can get the kit from Haisley machine for 1700 and then you have to supply the pump.. That is not to bad.. I wrecked 12 valves all the time.. I though about this but I would not be able to run the edge box and would have to go all motor then.. Not a bad thing though... My brother has a 12 valve with marine 370's and pump work and it soots more than mine... Not as strong though...!:poke:
