Ok, Jody and Tony are the tops!!!!!!!!!!
I am still new but have figured out that they are the best:Thumbup: !!!!!!!!!
Not to start a "who is better" but what is the difference?
Can you keep it simplle for a new guy> Thanks!!!!!!!!
Or If it would be better I will call each and talk personaly just to not cause a ruckas.

MAIN QUESTION!!!
What is the diff. in a tuner/programer/chip/etc.?

I would like to be able to change on the fly and not have to wait. And for now +85 hp will be enough with my injectors.
Just looking for my options. The exhaust and guages will come before the "tuner".

PM's would be great (from Jody and Tony).

That right there would be the best. Speak to both of them and see who gives you the better vibe. See if they discuss their product...or diss somebody elses.

A chip will allow you to change programs on the fly. A tuner or programmer won't. You have to take the time to download what program you wish. You also have a lot more options with a chip...program wise.

And I don't know if you will get a PM from Jody. He's awfully busy. His wonderful wife Diane (SeeYa) comes on usually. She might chime in..but in the vendor section she said she was going to be busy the next two days.

Thanks!!!!!!
I keep hearing "terms" and don't know what each one means.

I have a few months till I will be ready to purchase something and would like to know the basics before I look for my order.
They and others have my respect!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!! I just need a little info. before I start looking.

Definitely call each one and talk to them, and make your decision from there.

I like my F5 from Jody. Very cool to have the display on there. That's one of the things I didn't like about my old flip chip is always guessing what position you were in.

Ahh the question of ages

Here is how i based my decision, I just started pulling up all the threads i could search for on tuners. I read everyones opinions listened to the Vendors....then it was still a questionable question so i flipped a coin.

I can look at my selector and tell which position I am in  Guess it depends on the person.

Pretty easy for me. BWD is about 4 miles up the road, and they sell Jody's tunes. So I went with what was closest..lol So far its been awesome. I thought I was supposed to get better milage, but I guess when you can't keep your foot out of it, it isn't very good..lmao
