Hey guys, needin some insight on fuel plates. I got 94 w/ auto, only mods so far are straight pipe, bhaf, afc housing & stock plate ff, starwheel adjusted. I got a buddy thats gonna help me bump the timing up in a couple weeks and i figured i might as well go w/ a different plate. I don't tow too often, but i would like a plate that would help keep EGTs down some for when I do & still give some good power gains.
From what i've read so far a #10 plate looks pretty good, but like i said, just wantin some insight from you guys. If there's another plate a little more agressive than the 10 but still ok to tow let me know. Thanks!
Heres some pictures of the plates to give you an idea of the difference. I don't think the difference between some of them will make a noticeable difference
Either plate will work you just have to learn foot control! Hope you got the KDP done! And a guage set! Don't go over 40psi and she may last awhile but the tranny will hate it! Hope you got a TC and valve body at least if not get those first. Full forward is fine. Just adjust the star wheel to the middle it controls pre boost fueling only and lots don't get it! Have fun!
Go with a #10. Plus, you can grind it yourself pretty easily.
