anyone know if running the juice with attidude and a superchip programmer will it screw up the edges ability to perform? cuz I can't tell a difference in the settings between 1 and 5. Even when I take out the super chip. If i remove the superchip my truck wont get out of its own way!!! I got afe stage 3 intake, 4" turbo back no cat., and the chips!

i would sell both and buy a real chip like a DP or wildman.

yeah can use both of them but I notice a big difference when my juice is turned down:thumbsup

That's because stacking them is quite useless, as you are finding out. The Superchips is a programmer that changes and controls ICP, fueling, transmission shifting, etc. The Edge Juice w/Attitude is nothing more than a glorified ICP fooler and a set of electronic gauges.

Your Superchips is already calling for higher ICP than normal. At the same time, the Edge is trying to fool the PCM into thinking the ICP is too low, thus the PCM tries to bump it up even more. The problem here is that the stock HPOP can only flow so much oil. The reason you can't tell the power difference on the 1-5 settings of the Edge is because your HPOP is already putting out as much oil as it can. Trying to call for more oil when it can't supply the volume means you have reached the power limit.

So basically the Juice part of the Edge hardware is useless. Only the Attitude is now working as a set of gauges. All the power and tuning is done via the Superchips.

Stacking is old school technology, and I still can't believe that big companies such as Edge and Banks still offer stackable units. Anything and everything that can be done with stackable boxes can be done with a single programmer or a chip. A programmer or a chip is always cheaper, as you have to buy stacking module after module to achieve the same results that a single chip or tuner would have given you to begin with.

that was a most informative reply am going out right know and removing the superchip. I want a dp tuner!
Keep the Superchip, and just use the Edge Attitude for gauges. That setup is fine unless you plan to change tuning later.

The Superchips does more for tuning than your Juice/Attitude combo, so that's why I suggest leaving the Superchips in. It's not a bad tuner really, it's just limited compared to what can be done with a custom chip.

I agree completely. I have a Hypertech p3 programmer stacked with juice and attitude(I work at a dealer and get lots of take off stuff from trade ins). Although I do infact like the edges it is mostly for the gauges side of it. Now I have to admit though I do have a gain from the lower levels to the 4-5 but that could be because of the lack of what the hypertech is doing. I do infact love my setup but will be going for a custom tune soon but I will also be keeping the edge for the gauges. I do also like parameters you can set on the edge as precautions.
