Hey guys, I have done exactly what everyone says and shows to do to make a torque converter lockup on my 2000 and it doesnt work?!! Whats causing it not to work? I t'd into the purple wire with yellow tracer and ran it to a toggle switch then made a short wire that i grounded to a bar under the fuse panel in the cab and ran it to the switch also. Still doesnt work. Any ideas? :bang

make sure that you have a good ground and that the connections are good all the way out to the purple wire. I had the same problem when i hooked mine up and found out that my brand new switch was bad.

I tied into it down by the tranny the first time and it didnt work. Than I tied it in up by the airbox and it still didnt work??? So I dont know what it is.

does the torque converter lock as when the computer instructs it to as normal?

or is it that your lockup switch is just not working?

I cant get the lockup switch itself to work. The tc locks up when it is supposed to by the computer
