my receiver is a 2 1/2" and when looking at weight distribution hitches with 2 1/2" shanks they are double the price of 2" units. Are there any problems with using a reducer.
I didnt see a shank that would go from 2 to 2 1/2
The 2" units will cover the weight loads im looking to pull.
Best advice i can give is see if someone will loan you a set or borrow thats wat im doing for the time being. They are not cheap! I was looking for last min deal and buddy called and said hey borrow mine since he not camping for awhile LOL
The 2" adapter is fine for anything under 12k. Over that you need to go with the 2 1/2" set up. I have looked for the bigger set myself but they are considerably more expensive.
give a liberal coating of anti-seize to that adapter (inside & out wont hurt)...you DONT
want that thing fused inside your class V titan !
