Injector Harness issues caused by wires rubbing against mount
Transfer Case pump rub issue due to faulty/poorly designed wear indicator retaining clip. The clip rubs a hole in the magnesium case, 246/261/263-series.

Transmission Changes from previous model: Change to 6-Speed and upgraded C2 Apply took place in Model Year 06. Different TCM and NSBU, no longer uses Torque Converter speed in management strategy, instead uses ECM RPM. Shifter is now triangular and has a + and – button to manipulate shifting while in manual mode.

Known Motor/Transmission/Transfer Case issues:
LMM DPF and tuning do not mix well. Regeneration issues may occur and many have been reported. Generally DPF-deleted and tuned LMM trucks experience 1-2MPG better fuel economy than DPF-equipped LMM trucks.


Changes to Vehicle from previous model:
Introduction of GMT-900, new body and interior. Silverado and Sierra have more distinct body differentiation. Two dash layouts; Luxury dash that closely mimics the dash in their GMT900 SUVs, and a Pure Truck dash that is more upright to make way for a passenger seat in place of a center console. Integrated Trailer Brake Controller (ITBC) is now optional.

Known Major Vehicle Issues: Numerous rattles and nit-picks. Frequent accidental 4WD engagement due to location of new 4WD knob and lack of 4WD indicator LED in Dash.
Snow in the air box leading to CEL. There is a TSB to mod the box and grill opening.

LLY Information Update

Thanks to DrHolliday(Chris) for doing some research on this as well.

LLY:
Years offered: 2004.5-2005 / 2006 LLY is basically a de-tuned LBZ

Compression: 17.5:1 / 16.8:1 (2006)
Injection: Bosch High Pressure Common-rail
Power / Torque: 04.5-06; 310 HP @3000rpm / 605 LB-FT @1600 rpm.

Engine Changes from previous model:
Garrett Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT)
EGR Valve added
PCV now routed back through Turbo Air Intake (mouthpiece)
Redesigned Valve Covers, eliminating removal to R&R injectors and prevent fuel from pouring into crank-case
Grid Heater removed
High Idle Feature added
Early 2006 LLY model has LBZ updates including Bosch ECM and internals.

Changes to Vehicle from previous model: Higher Hood-line signifying Model Year 2005+

I guess stock is not required as per the PM?!?!

Only difference now is the addition of dual 6" miter cut black stacks with chrome Pete clamps, even with the top of the cab and MBRP diamond plate cover. 5" from turbo back, with custom center split "even flow" Y pipe on 14" bend up pipe for flow.

Also painted the secondary CP3 (metal part) 1000*F gloss black, along with primer pump delete head. All 8 intake ports on the custom PPE race intake are filled now with nitrous inlets, W/M inlets, Hobbs and other ancillaries, loom plugs are in-line again with the delete of Edge box for DSP5 mounted in top console below the lighted E-Locker toggle and next to the PPE rail and 2K* pyro.

All boots are 200psi, triple boost gauges on the A-pillar, the rest is the same from before, barring the ATS Extreme freshin up with 5 Star converter, all T Case upgrades from Fleece and Merchant, yada yada. The rest, I think, is in the sig :D (I'll throw some more pics in below)

Woops. Forgot the truck :bash

Last one is the track controller. Auto N2O bottle opener, auto heater, main power, nitrous1, propane, nitrous2, W/M. Clips into console and fits hand like a glove :D

I'll get some new pics when the truck dries off from the snow (and snow and more snow and snow and snow and.... :swear
