I have my passenger side tore apart on my 03 and I cannot remove the hub assembly. Does the entire axle shaft have to come out on these AAM's or what. I have every bolt out of this thing and it just wont budge. Do I need to pull the diff cover and remove some sort of retainer or what? Thanks

You have the nut off the axle?
There are 4 bolts that hold the bearing to the spindle casting, if you put a couple of adapters for 5# slide hammer in from the out side they will usually pop right out.
Another way to start then is with a chisel on the part line but remember to clean up the burr.

The axle stays unless you want to take it out. a dead blow or brass hammer knocks it pack at about 1/8 in so the seal is not disturbed.

They collect dirt and rust in the bore that makes them stick.

The bearings can be pulled apart but I don't see how to reassemble them - the seal pops apart with no way to fit it back into place.
