I have a 03 with a banks six gun with a 100 hp shot of nitrous. Im told the banks wont give me enough fuel for the nitrous to do me any good. Ive also been told to stack the ppe on top of the banks and that will give me enough fuel to use the nitrous. Has anyone done this? Will the PPE chip be enough to solve my problem?

Simply Put, Yes.....If you run a HOT+2 E.T. you will have plenty of fuel. there wont be any need to stack that with the banks. The [email protected] ET is 350hp at the crank about 265hp to the ground. Add the throttle in a bottle to that and your looking at 350hp to the ground. You will need a set of lift pumps to keep fuel to the CP3 too.

NEXT QUESTION:

Please tell me your not doing this on a stock or near stock allison. It will take a Suncoast stage IV or V, PPE V, ATS 5, or something like that to hold that kind of power. Your looking at close to 600hp with the juice. Its pretty common knowledge that at the 600hp mark the DMAX internals are on the edge. Rods have been known to go south at 600hp.

there are quite a few models of the PPE Xcelerater. Economy, Xcelerater, HOT, HOT+2, HOT+2 E.T.

I think The economy the lowest rated at up to 160hp (flywheel ratings) 4 levels
the regular excelerater is 220hp up to(flywheel ratings) 4 levels
The HOT and HOT+2 are the same ratings but the HOT +2 has retarded timing for nitrous and Pane. I think this is how they are rated.

Personally I would ditch the drugs....you can achieve huge horspower in these trucks without them more reliably.

You can stack a programmer (examples: BullyDog, Predator, Quad, PPE) with an Edge box. Only trouble is trying to figure out which levels to run on them so they play nice. Some get you a LOT of timing rattle....

IIRC, the old "******* Stack" was the Quad 215 and the Hot Juice....usually netted somewheres around 500rwhp.

With the PPE hot +2 you do not need or want to stack it with anything, usually too much timing, which causes timing rattle, and with nitrous may damage the engine. If you really wanted to stack, you could do like tom said, the ******* stack, but in the age of 500 RWHP EFI programs, TTS extreme, and PPE hot +2, you don't need too.

lets be honest. stacking chips = stupid. EFI, PPE, TTS are all good. pick one.
