Finally swapped in the rear '05 axle in my truck and needed to do front pads, so I opted for Wagner Thermo Quiet pads front and rear on stock rotors. I'm really impressed with the brake feel and stopping performance considering it's an 8400lb truck on 37" tires. I'm not feeling so technical as to measure stopping distances, but they are an improvement over the stock pads. Feel is very linear, with no surprise grab or lack of initial bite. I've driven them in the extreme wet and snow/ice and they remain nice and predictable. So overall I'm pretty impressed, for a guy who has only previously run OE Motorcraft or Performance Friction in the past because those prove very reliable options.

Long Term Follow Up:

The Wagner TQ pads have about 50,000 miles on them and look to be good for at least 100k. They are still dead quiet and stop incredibly well. There is no unusual rotorwear. They are a little dusty, but not really any more than the stock pads. Having moved from Southern California to Northern Utah I haven’t had any issues with them in the coldest weather, their performance is very consistent in all weatherand all conditions.

if you’re in the market for pads, these are a home run.
