06' f250 6.0 keeps blown the turbo boots off - was the top one for a while now the bottom right one blows off. seems dry around the clamp area. it will do it at mild acceleration or driving down the hwy. any thoughts ?:usflag

I had the same problem.
Mine was the fact that the aviation nut on the hose clamp kept backing off.
Those nuts will hold well for a few adjustments, but, after you loosen and tighten them they eventually won't stay where you leave them.
Those clamps are expensive, so, no way was I going to buy another one, especially when the clamp itself was fine, it was only the nut that was failing.
I know of 2 solutions:
1) replace the aviation nut.
2) put a 2nd nut on the clamp, just behind the first one. After you get the aviation nut tightened where you want it tighten the 2nd nut against the aviation nut. Use 2 wrenches...you don't want the aviation nut to tighten any more and you need to get them snug against each other to keep from slipping.

thanks - i think they have been off several times before this issue started. i think i'll give them a drop of hy-heat thread locker just for a little more insurance. :happymugs
