i took it to the dealer and the mechanic said its fine and does not need new injectors and these year trucks were suposed to get 12 mpg city and 14 highway and my injectors should last a few more years, he also said that my 5 inch straight pipe with a k and n intake was mismatched causing worse milage. i think this guy doesnt know what hes talking about.
my truck is a single cab 2wd i changed my fuel filter cleaned the map sensor and im running amsoil additive.
what do you think?

do you think my injectors are bad, should i bring it back?

Did you check your oil to see if the level has increased? Have you tried the paper towel test? Put a spot of oil on a paper towel..the fuel will make a ring around the oil drop.

While I am not a fan of K&N filters, a CAI and larger exhaust should help mileage, not hinder it.

I'd go to another dealer...one that honestly wants to look at your truck and help you.

Sounds like a load of crap to me. lb7's get better mileage than lly's and I would be concerned if I had an lly that got 12mpg's. If that says anything. Also if your iol pressure has decreased that could point to injectors.
