did you brush the all the chassis coating? Looks dang good:thumbsup
yup i did, it goes on just like any brushed paint but smooths out as it cures and almost takes on a clearcote finish
:whs, Its some pretty kewl stuff. Cant make it look but unless you get careless and get paint runs. Its amazing at how runny the stuff is when you dip the brush and then how fast it startes to do what it does!

This is almost the exact same material used to line gas tanks!
looks good...

BTW is that a 6600 in the background???
well, this thread got motivated to make the leap and do the same thing, i just added 1 gallon of chassis saver satin black to my cart and it should ship out tomorrow:rock

couple tips, if u cant get it sand blasted, scrap all the undercoating off first if theres any left, wire wheel it, then take paint thinner and wipe the frame off and that will take any under coatin residue off, the paint with stick alot better!!! oh and dont get it on ya.. it takes forever to come off!! LOL ask bill

Sould really get the degreaser and metal ready as its highly sugest by por15!

The metal ready is what actually KILLS the rust.
well guys it should be 99.9% done wednesday....is say 99.9% cause im truly never done messin with my truck LOL.

i don't think magnet paints (the manufacturer of chasis saver) has metal ready they say just clean the surface good and apply the paint:read

this is what i bought http://www.magnetpaints.com/underbody.asp
metal ready is just a rust inhibitor...it does nothing for cleaning the metal...paint thinner worked the best
well its back on the road, the new cam sure makes a differance, pulling a long steep grade with skidsteer and trailer on back never went over 1100! spool up is awesome too!! only thing that suckd is i blew an a/c line that got bent and had a crease in it, was hoping itd be ok but guess not LOL. more pics to come but heres one with a load on her after its its first hour back on the road!!
