I hoped you would! I loved watching the project, I am sorry you will need to repost all that info.
Maybe now you might be all moved in and ready to spend the time re-doing the write up! LOL Good luck, and hurry up! LOL
Man this does suck, wasnt the build thread on like page 13 or somewhere in the teens?

And all the valuable/good read of that write up, and pics along the way, gone, for the time being :(
I for one have been watching this thread closely, I am repowering an old ford also.
HRDROKN, I'm glad your back I love the build !!!
bring it all back for us to learn!

Hey... thanks for all the support Guys!

All this conversion stuff started way back.... this was my first actual conversion that was a driver when I bought it.

So as I was looking for something even more unique....

My wife and I took a trip to Arizona back in July '07 to pick up a 1969 Ford Crew Cab 4x4 that was rust free! Made a deal for the truck without motor and transmission... perfect canidate for a Cummins swap!

And it all begins....

As it turns out the "rust free" truck wasn't so rust free! Typical buyer beware... can't believe that the world is so full of scamers!

Getting busy with some floor pan repairs while planning out the particulars of the motor swap....

The front cab mounts were also rusted out pretty bad, so no better time than the present to replace em....

Very cool project.

Fitting new replacement panels.... this is my first go around with any kind of body work, so it has been somewhat of a learning experience!

Removed the fuel tank from the inside of the cab... as I will be installing a 50 gallon in the back of the bed. Besides, what a great place to install some subwoofers!

Second part of the buyer beware... ! The seller advertised this truck as having detroit lockers front and rear! When I got into the diffs, I found that we had a pair of power-loks front and rear :bang:
