not with a hydraulic flaring tool

i bought the $100 ratchet one. i couldn't buy the $400 hyd tool for $300 worth of tube. it got the job done but i still had a few leaks and ended up re-doing a couple flares. it's done, tight, and dry now..... and i'm hoping i don't have to mess with it again.



so did the line-loc go on the front or rear? what do you plan to use it for?

After messing with under dash locations, I ended up going with my original thought anyway.

I sure hope I don't get a bunch of damn leaks.... :slap

Fed up with the roll bar... so it's getting **** caned, can't weld the way I want due to that line-x and I'm tired of waisting any more time with it!

Still waiting for some fittings to finish up the brake lines and some 4" exhaust pipe to clear the bellhousing.

Started working on wiring up this pig...

Update....

I've been getting a little done here and there, but nothing major. With the economy the way it is, we decided to concentrate some funds towards the housing market. Unfortunately this all comes at the expense of working on the truck! :swear

And with any new house comes new projects.... paint, floors, dog kennel etc.

Oh man I know the feeling. I had to devert my efforts to the house and away from my trucks as well. Sorry to hear it.

We finally found a home and are in contract.... lots of things to do now with house projects. Hopefully they go well so I can get back to the truck soon.

No HOA that I'm aware of... I think that has to be disclosed? Anyway they start *****in and I'll make three big cutting torch stains on the driveway, and grind metal from 10 to 11 pm...

so I have a question, is this truck a 'highboy'? The reason I ask, Highboy's have narrow frame rails, as does my 73 F350

I'm wondering if I could squeeze a Cummins between my frame rails?
