1989 F-550 2x4 cummins conversion

Out with the 460 in with a 1992 cummins.
Bought a diesel ZF-5-speed with a trans parking break drum.

If you stay tuned i'll be dooing in depth coverage so you can doit your self.

Parts bought for conversion:

500 hp Clutch
Destroked adapter plate
Ford Cummins Engine mounts
twin electic fans
After market voltage regulater.

Let me know another guy from another site who lives in Southeastern Ohio says he wants it too. I told him the same thing. He's rebuilding an old International with a Detroit.

thanks for the heads up but, if he comes up with the money first no hard fellings, i.ve got 1000 comming out for injection pump rebild and re-gear on my dana 80 so, i'll try. thanks

not really giving up the frame is shot on the rear and i just bought a 1992 international 4700 with an eaton 7-speed so, i think i'll just use that truck insted.

seven speed is nice is it a HD rock crusher (twin counter shaft) or the Med Duty synchro shift? OD? What engine?

HD tranny, no clucth shift style.
Shift pattern:

havent had a chance to look and see if it is a DT360 or a DT466, elctirc over hydro breaks, 26,000lb vin tag, 5 spoke wedge open rims.14 foot flat bed with 2,000lb lift gate.
