My CD player sometimes won't play the cd. I'll push the CD in and then I'll hear a bunch of clicking noises. It seems like it wants to play, but after a series of clicking noises, it spits the CD out. Is there a cleaner or would this be something else I need to do. Sometimes it will play the CD.

It can be as simple as different thicknesses in the center of some CDs. But the older CD players are reaching life expectancy. My E99 had an aftermarket Alpine AM/FM/CD head unit that was just fine until the amplifier died a couple weeks back. when I took it out, it was manufactured in 2006, so the stock radio lasted 8-9 years and the alpine was good for 7-8 years. Stuff happens to stuff, then we replace that stuff with cool new stuff.

I'll see if I can clean the "eye" or something before I go aftermarket. Can't spend the cash now for some of these luxuries.
