Hey guys, I've got a 2001 International 4700 with air brakes. Braking power with no load doesn't seem that great and when I throw some pallets up on the deck it's terrible (not overloaded, under gvwr still) the brake shoes are plenty thick and were replaced just before I got the truck (probably less than 10k miles.) Any advice where to look next? Or is this normal for these trucks?

Empty truck with air brakes - you should be able to launch yourself thru the windshield with them, especially compared to hydraulic brakes. What all have you checked? Leaks, play, etc. does it brake in a straight line or pull one way?
