Please forgive my ignorance. I am new to Class 6 and 7 trucks.
I recently bought an 01 4700 to start a rolloff business. It has a fixed steering column. I found a used tilt/telescoping column online. The Dealership said it was a direct replacement/bolt in based on both VINs from mine and the donor truck. By some miracle I have gotten all of the electric plugs detatched without breaking a single tab but I have been unable to detatch the joint for the steering shaft down through the floor from the original steering column. You can see in the picture the difference between what arrived and what appears to be installed in the truck. I appreciate any help available. Thank you in advance.

Is there a groove for a pinch bolt in the splined shaft on the new column?
I suspect you need the yoke that goes on the new tilt column.
It looks like a Douglas Autotek column. They were good but don't use the
steering wheel as a grab handle when climbing into the cab.

Youre right about the yoke, I ordered it this morning. It is an International column,
