02 250 Powerstroke. 42K miles. I am the original owner. Truck running great. Did not drive for two days. Tried to start and batteries drained to less than 2V. Removed batteries from connectors and charged both up and they are now at 13V. Very hard short because when reconnecting the positive terminal and touching negative terminal to neg battery post get near arch welding spark. With all 4 battery terminals removed get 0 ohms resistance between positive and negative terminal (batteries not connected). Tried to test for amperage drain with ohm meter on 20A setting for amperage but fried my DMM. Removed every fuse and all relays and still get 0 ohm resistance between pos and neg cable terminals. Removed connector for fuel filter heater> still 0 ohms. Removed alternator connectors> still 0 ohms. Removed ICP connector> still 0 ohms. Removed CMP connector> still 0 ohms. Visually inspected all wires top and bottom of engine and cannot see any visible wire shorts.

Not sure where to look next but really appreciate any suggestions or info on anyone’s possible prior experience similar to this.

Thanks much.
