My buddy always wanted a double din stereo and was it would work. Well they were wrong.

I pulled the dash and cut out the 2/3" lip that held in the factory . Do not cut the lip on the sides. I just cut the top and bottom lip.

The factory housing is wider then the stereo its self. So, you will need to find the center point. Then you will need to make your own brackets.

With a little time you can get it to look just about factory.

I also hooked the dvd safety mode to work on a switch, instead of having to set the e-break.

looks good buddy! you did a good job! too bad I already got one in my truck or I'd be next in line for a custom instal by Milt!! :happymugs

My thread doesnt make since lol.

He was told that it wouldnt work. No audio places would even sell him a stereo for it.

Hey that dash look like mine haha wait it is haha thanks milt. Yes guys he did it and looks so good i love it and the audio shops that i went to that said it would not work will be pissed when i stop by for them to see. haha
