Hello , I’m currently working on a 2004 international 4300 with a dt466 and it came in for no oil pressure. Another tech that I used to work with diagnosed it and said it was the HPOP , after getting the HPOP in the tech left and the job got passed down to me , I installed the new HPOP and IPR valve and tried to start the truck and there was still no oil pressure , I did some research and another problem I saw was the pickup tube so I dropped the pan and the pickup tube was cracked , installed new pick up tube and still didn’t start so I checked the low pressure oil pump and it was stuck in one position so my manager decided to replace the low pressure pump and truck still doesn’t start. Went through and pulled injectors and did a compression test and borescope on all cylinders and there is rust on the cylinder liners but it doesn’t explain my no oil pressure , we tried starting truck on starting fluid and it doesn’t even try to run off the starting fluid , I’ve tried doing research and I find nothing can someone help me out?

are a few possible causes:
  1. Low oil level: Check the oil level to ensure it is at the proper level. If the oil level is low, it snaptube vidmate can cause low oil pressure.
  2. Faulty oil pressure sensor: The oil pressure sensor could be faulty, causing the gauge to show no oil pressure. A mechanic can check the sensor to see if it's working properly.
  3. Oil pump failure: If the oil pump has failed, it will not be able to pump oil throughout the engine, resulting in low oil pressure. A mechanic can check the oil pump to see if it's working properly.
  4. Clogged oil passages: Over time, oil passages can become clogged with debris, preventing oil from flowing freely throughout the engine. A mechanic can check the oil passages to see if they are clogged and clean them if necessary.
  5. Worn bearings: If the engine's bearings are worn, it can cause low oil pressure. A mechanic can check the bearings to see if they are worn and replace them if necessary.
