I have a DT466 in a 2007 4300 EGR motor that has slow throttle response. if you hold the throttle to the floor RPMs will run up to about 1500 rpm, then just keep holding throttle to the floor & it will slowly go to 2500 after that start engine back up in a few minutes it will slowly go up to 2500 rpms. Cold start will run up to 1500 until you hold it down for a minute or so.

Thanks, J.L. Cottrell
