my 3406 peec is driving me crazy itll work fine for a while and then itll just die out of nothing.
its throwing me codes 24 and just today 21
would this have anything to do with the fuel pump?
it has the stock semi electronic fuel pump...
any help would be great!

21 is a sensor supply voltage fault, and
24 is a sensor supply voltage fault.
I would clean all the battery and ground connections, especially the ECM power connections and check the fuse holders. good luck.

its weird because when it dies if i poor water on the fuel pump itll work again for a little bit

Pull the 40 pin connectors and shoot it all with electrical contact cleaner, then, against normal rules, lite coat of di-electric grease and screw it back on. Should be done. Those codes are for the 5vlt reference wires to the senders. It's not getting it's five, but the water is helping it make contact so it does have 5vlt output. Just not making it to the sensor. You do not think it is possible he still has the sensor that is on the back of the governor, and has never been upgraded.
