The Raptor power ratings on the 6.2L were released on regular octane, and naturally aspirated: 411 hp

6.7L High Revving SST Turbo Charged 32 Valve Reverse flow Diesel
407 ci.

vs

6.2L 16 Valve Naturally Aspirated Gas Job
377 ci.

39 more hp easy PERIOD :coal

Easy. Yes. Will they? Likely not. These trucks are built to pull. You can build them to make 650hp from the factory. But to hand them over to John Q Public would be irresponsable. The more power these engine make the more heat becomes an issue. The roads would be littered with melted trucks from reckless driving. "I've got 650hp on tap. So lets pull my 13,000lbs fifth wheel at 80mph up and 8% grade when its 90 above out." Too many people out there have diesel trucks and dont know how to use them properly. Warm up. Cool down. Known when to back out of it when pulling. Yaddi yadda.

Just because its possible. Doesnt mean everyone should have it.

If the 320-horsepower, 5.4-liter V-8 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor isn't enough to get your Baja mojo running, Ford has announced the official power ratings for the upcoming 6.2-liter V-8 version: 411 hp and 434 lbs.-ft. of torque, making it the most powerful half-ton pickup.

The two-valve single-overhead cam (SOHC) large displacement 6.2-liter V-8 features two spark plugs per cylinder, a cast-iron engine block and aluminum cylinder heads. It also features a cast-iron crankshaft, forged steel connecting rods and cast-aluminum pistons.

The new 6.2-liter V-8, formerly known as the Boss engine -- and the Hurricane before that -- will find its way under the hood of the 2011 Ford F-Series Super Duty F-250 and F-350 pickups, and is likely to also find its way into other F-150 models beyond the Raptor's off-road niche.

6.2-liter equipped Raptors can be ordered starting December 1, with a starting MSRP of $41,995 - $3,000 more than the 5.4-liter Raptor's starting price - and the first trucks should be jumping whoops in the hands of consumers by February 2010. - PickUpTrucks.com (source)
Maybe you are referring to what this guy says after the article in the comment section...

Good Job Ford. 411/434 on reg gas is better than GMs 6.2L @ 403/417 on premium fuel. On reg octane they are @ 384 hp...

He is referring to the GM 6.2L on regular gas it is 384 hp, not the Raptor.

I highly doubt they will rate this truck at much over 400HP (they will certainly hold some of the number back just so they can bump it later). If they (Ford) get greedy, it will be on the torque number because most of the clientel who will buy this truck are focusing on torque because torque is a better indicator of what you can pull.

They will right around 400 horsepower, pretty much gauranteed.
