I am putting a 6.0 intercooler in my 97 OBS. I have the cooler mounted, and all my piping layed out, but I have a questions about the boots that connect the intercooler to the piping. I have two boots from NAPA that I ordered a while back because of an article I read. One is NAPA# 1701 3" long w/3" ID, the other is NAPA# 1740 6" long w/3" ID & wire wrapped bellows.

The 6.0 intercooler is 3" on the drivers side, and 3 1/4" on the passenger side. I have heard people talk about how hard it is to get the boots on, and also that there is a 3" to 3 1/4" ID boot available somewhere.

Does anyone know if I have the right boots, and if so which one goes on which side. and is the "reducer Boot" available?
