Yes it will stop the regeneration mode. You will also never need to put UREA in the truck again.

My last three trucks had aftermarket exhaust and programmig within 150 kms of purchase and both have been bulletproof.

So are you saying that innovative and spartan have poor customer service compared to KEM(H&S custom tuning dealer)? You sound as if spartan and SCT custom tuning dealers will not even compeat with H&S tuning dealers, but i will beg to differ. I guess we'll just hafta wait and see.

I have never had a issue with getting a hold of Innovative. Eric has sent tunes at 2:00am when working on stuff. I have never ran H&S bc Eric has never given me a reason to. Eric has given me advice on stuff that I didnt even buy from him. He has a great staff and gives a lot of support to members on this forum.

I have not tested the SCT nor the SPARTAN yet, but they always come through with great products and great tunes.

The H&S is so far incredible. I have done a couple of installs, and about to install their EGR cooler delete as well. I like the shift on the fly feature and tiny size of the minimax.

I have 2 cab and chassis trucks and one normal one. will the tunes work on the c/c trucks? Half my hours are idling and the plugged filter stench is getting worse.

In my personal opinion EGR systems should have never been installed on diesels. So far we have had nothing but problems with them, although they work great on Gas engines. This process they are using to meet emissions standards for 2012 will change in the next 2 years any way as far my understanding goes.

I have not messed around with the 6.7L EGR system as of yet to see the internals of it.

There is no mention of how much tuning is done on the Trans for the 6.7L. I'll to follow up with H&S to get more details. I can tell the shifting felt different after tuning but that can also be the re-adaptive learning with the new tunes!

As long as you have the FORD 6.7L Scorpion engine, then its not an issue.

thanks dfuser let us know what they say. i have had tuners before that did not change transmission settings and shifting was terrible when the motor was turned up.

No just engine tuning they are looking into it to see if they can do it but at this point they are not sure if they will be able to or not.

Thats the motor.
It would be nice to have the 400 horse output of the srw truck, in the 300 horse 550 that weighs in at 13,000 empty.
Seems like one of the trucks is always low on exhaust fluid too, I have enough things to keep track of.

Sorry, I suppose I'm a bit jaded by the progress of the programs and the customer support for the early-ons. Innovative was good for me but I had some issues with my program (mainly shifting) and was basically told thats all there was. Later heard there were fixes available. No biggie but I'm still a little bitter, maybe I should'nt be.

Spartan is cheered on this site time and time again, and aside from the high actual HP numbers their programming is basically unrefined. Shifts are horrible, poor tranny doesn't know what happened to it. Power is good but rough idle in cold weather. High boost pressure was first touted as being safe now considered no good for the 6.4L (too late?). Had issues right off the hop and it was a good month before I was bothered with to get a fix. Too much hassle for me. Lastly, I understand the Dashdaq I paid good $$ for is only good for Spartan, I was hoping this would turn out more like the EFI Live for the Chevy boys, where programming is done much more fairly open to everyone.

I've seen the H&S and they just seem to be like a Edge, out of the box they work good, no hassle, no issues, with the emission issues solved. More for what I'm looking for in a programmer. I don't like my truck being the guinea pig.

OK, been reflecting on the remark above and in all honesty Innovative was alright to deal with, only thing was I think thet were just starting to really get into the tuning of the 6.0L and didn't have the time, manpower, and resources to properly address issues that came up for me. I'm sure things are better now but at the time it was frustrating.

Transmisson tuning will be available eventually, but right now they are not tuning it. The adaptive learning on these trans is very good and does not need tuning at these power levels. The H&S tuner will not work on cab and chassis 6.7 fords. They are completely different than a normal pick up truck. It should be available soon. EGR delete is easy on these trucks, everything is right on top of the motor. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks
