600hp=Which motor

ok I am looking to do a cummins conversion but I really want to be around 600 hp which motor should i start with I am going to do some lite pulling now and then and I wanna race it somtimes but most importantly I have to be abble to take it hunting all the time so it has to be dependable so any feedback you guys give me would help alot thanks

04.5-09 5.9 or 6.7 will do that wit ease and the right combo and still be driveable as a DD or hunting rig to haul them monsters out in. Will it be a auto or manual?(refering to #4)

1. quages pyro,boost,tran temp, or a fuel guage if you feel the need
2. good programming Edge, Smarty, BullyDog, XRT
3. Studs
4. Clutch or Built Auto Southbend, Suncoast, ATS, Goerend
5. Cold Air Intake there are alot of...afe, [email protected], airid, etc..
6. Turbos a Silver series 62 or 64 will be fine IMO and you can still tow
7. Injectors 50's or 90's will satisfy
8. Fuel system Fass, Airdog, Raptor many dif variations
9. CP3 mod prob not neccessary but would help
10. Damn almost forgot lol TBE exhaust 5in def for 600hp
11. For the 6.7 only EGR/EGR Cooler delete and you will have to run a XRT or Smarty programmer on these motors to also have the DPF deleted.

These are in no specific order but for the years i suggested some of this will put you over 550 and close if to if not over 600hp reliable....just my 2 cents

I have no preference on the trans is there somthing I should Know as far as which is the best/most reliable ?

Yes considering you can get 500+ out of most CR wit just tuner and exhuast and fuel system. Wit the right turbo or turbo's 600 is not far and i wouldnt see where it would be in realiable or out of reach.
Conversion

Well I talked to Aden at GOS Performance and He has definatly been a lot of help I am going to go with a 04.5-05 CR And use A ZF6 trans Now all I gotta Do is find one at a reasonable price I looked here in Detriot and :wtf these guys are proud of there engines they want $6800-$7900 but no worries I will find one soon also My buddy is going to do the same conversion with me except he will use his auto trans so if you know anyone parting these trucks I need 2 complete 04.5-05 CR's so if I can get a better deal that way LMK and Thanks for all the info it has helped alot
