It could be an IDM problem. The most common problem with these is the wiring harness between the IDM and the injectors. It is called the UVC wiring (under valve cover). The wiring connector is a three piece connector, with the middle portion being part of the valve cover gasket. The inner connector tends to come apart. Ford makes a wedge kit to keep this from happening. Start by wiggling the connector while running. Sometimes you can get to work some this way. If so, then you know what you need to do.
