I have an 89 F350 with the 7.3 IDI Engine in it, that after having replaced all of the return lines, caps, & o-rings, along with all of the olives, is still getting Air in back into the system, to the point that it is has to be bled out to get it to start. The odd aspect of this is as long as you crank the truck daily, this is not a problem and it will crank fine, but if it sits for 2 or more days without being cranked, well as I said we have to bleed the air out to get it cranked.

Have any of you had a similar issue, and if so what was the cause and how did you fix it? Was there a test that made it obvious that that was your problem?
