My 1991 F250 has a tcc problem as soon as it warms up to highway speed it kicks out of lock up and will not go back in until fully cooled off. I have a trans temp gauge and the highest I have ever seen it is 170 deg fahrenheit. Fipl has been adjusted and is working properly, I put a code reader on the truck and it reads "94 - Converter clutch solenoid circuit failure (E4OD) " I am assuming this means i am changing my solenoid pack.

Either that, or a wiring issue related to it. Possible bad relay?

Well today I changed the solenoid pack, I noticed that after the change it takes lock up like its supposed to but it was also cutting out and back in a few times while going down the highway at 90 kmh, I am hoping that it had to do with the extreme windshield - 34 that we had today in southern SK. Should I be resetting the computer after changing the pack?
