I have a 95 f350 7.3 and I have to plug in the block heater before I can start it every morning cold or hot outside. I have changed the glow plugs and the relay and the batteries are good to. It also white smokes a hole lot when it does start but that goes away once you start driving.

does it crank over a long time? before you start it check the fuel filter housing and see if it is full it sounds like you might be bleading off/air leak. also ck your oil level

Yeah it takes a while to crank but when the block heater is plugged in for about 30-40 min it starts right up. And the oil is good. but tomorrow morning i check to see if there is fuel in the fuel filter housing before i try to start it. thanks
