This code abs 136 no eng is coming up on my 2004 columbia. I checked altenator, fuses, wiring, charged batteries, 4 post inside fuse box (all show voltage with key in on position). What am i missing. ABS 136, will that prevent engine from cranking. It does turn over at a good rpm. Could it be a sensor? If so, which one and where is it? How do i check it?

what eng do you have?our columbias{detroit powered} had problems down by the ecm where the plastic tubing chaffs the wiring causes all kinds of elect problems.try pulling the plastic tubing back and check wiring, especially the orange and green twisted pair of wires. hope this helps BOB

Thanks for help. It ended up being an exposed corroded wire @ battery box inside of the plastic covering. Thanks for the info. You led me in the right direction and kept me from buying an ECM unnecessarily.
