Lets see how everybody is mounting there air horns I will be puting a set my uncles chevy tomorrow and I am looking for ideas. I wold really like to see them on chevy trucks but wold still like to see them on every thing else thanks

This isn't a very good pic though. They was mounted under the bed, on pass side.

Dang! I'd say that will get the job done!


How do you like just the Grovers? I ended up with a set of 2 trumpets, from an auction. Worth mounting up under the truck? They sound good on the work bench, but wonder if they are worth it.

yeah, they do pretty good. with the big line and solenoids and 150psi they make some noise. i originally wanted to put them behind the front bumper but didnt have the air line for it so just stuck them on the side of the frame.

What do you have mounted in the cab to activate the horns?

just a simple momentary switch next to the steering column. it was put in back when i first put the train horns in a few years ago.
