We had over 25 trucks of the best in the South for diesel performance trucks perform in front of a nice crowd that was part of the Mopar weekend! Not one breakdown or spill or delay for our diesel boys! The crowd really enjoyed it!

Had horrible storms on Friday (tornados, etc.) but the sun came out on Saturday and it was 70º s all day! Still got the cookout in late on Friday night and we all wished Dunbar a Happy Birthday with a big cake and some colorful items!

Over $7000 in cash purses plus trophies were given to some great competitors and we hope to see you all in Reynolds GA on May 23!

We personally want to thank our Drag Series sponsor D-Tech for bringing the crew along with Diesel RX (Chad) and the boys from Keystone Automotive!

Anyone got photos?????

NADM drag racing would kick-off at Rockingham Dragway, Saturday April 11th. New Drag Racing Series sponsor DTech was on hand along with sponsors Diesel RX and Keystone Automotive to witness the 2009 DTech Championship Drag Racing Series begin.

Pro Street would eventually be won by 2008 Unlimited Champion Jeff Garmon of Griffin GA, but last years ET and Quick Diesel Champion Brian Buchanan of High Point North Carolina had it in his mind to make Garmon work for it. After Garmon defeated Jeff Dean who came all the way from Lancaster OH, and Buchanan defeated Ed Wayne of Landis NC in the semi-final round, the top two class qualifiers would meet in the finals. Buchanan would get the starting line advantage but watch Garmon take the win by two tenths in a great side by side drag race.

The DP Tuner Quick Diesel class has become a racers class. In Friday night
test and tune, NADM watched as four racers consistently ran the index of
12.0 seconds. Saturdays action was not a disappointment as 2 tenths divided the entire field. The Semi-final round would find #2 qualifier Ty Maitland of Highlands North Carolina receiving a bye run while #1 qualifier Brian Jellico of Currituck NC would face off against Mike Dolan of Rural Hall
North Carolina. In a close race, Jellico would defeat Dolan by 1 tenth of a
second.

The final round would face the #1 and #2 qualifiers to determine who is king
today. After the dust had settled Maitland would become the winner of the
DP Tuner Quick Diesel class, while Jellico is poised to challenge him May
23rd in Reynolds GA.

The ET Bracket class is always fun to watch and is where nearly all racers
can compete. The Semi-final round would have Tim Burchett of Winston Salem, NC enjoying a bye run, and racers Jay McKee of Thomasville NC and Heather Reams of Marietta GA battle it out. Reams, in her first ever drag race would actually cut the better reaction time and run .08 seconds off her dial and lose. McKee who ran .04 seconds off his dial would beat Reams to the stripe in a great drag race.

Burchett would face McKee in the finals. Burchett dialed a 14.30 and McKee
a 14.90. Both drivers leave clean with no red light, and Burchett would
take the win running .13 seconds off his dial, pushing McKee out the back
door to break out by .04 seconds. Again, another great competitive drag
race to entertain the crowd.
