I bought my son a 1995 Tahoe and it has 38.5" Super Swamper Boggers on it. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about upgrading the front axles. GM runs independent front suspension on their 1tons so I was thinking that someone might have some info on doing a conversion. Being a 1ton the axles must be bigger and stronger. If not any info on a stronger aftermarket axles woud be great to.
Thanks

Here is a good source for a solid axle conversion. This is the best cv axle made for these trucks. It says it's for 1/2 tons but they make them for 3/4 and 1 tons as well. If you are looking into a very custom 4 link with a solid axle you might want to talk to these guys.

Hope this is what you were looking for.

IFS sucks, if you are going to be swapping new stuff in it just go with a solid axle conversion. You wont regret it when all is said and done.
