well backing in to a site with my fifth wheel I stoped right at the point were the back tires were just off the payment. When I tried to move it smoked the clutch, what a stink it still pulls itself. I was woundering should it have spun a wheel or killed the engine if the clutch was ok, this is my first time pulling since I bought it are the duall l masss flywheels turnable and can a normal auto machine shop handle that In two weeks have to go thru the mouintains of virgina and weat virgina on hwy 77 a lot of mountain think it will make it if I baby it have a shop in Cincinnati I deal with hopping it will last till then I welcome all thoughts and advice good or bad my call thanks in advance

Sounds alot like our truck, same year and trans...

The clutch SHOULD NOT SLIP, yes it should kill the engine first but it might not spin the tires if there is a load on the truck.

Our truck no longer has the dual-mass FW and honestly, I don't know why anyone would want one in a TRUCK.
