banks LMM

This is my first post, but I've been watching for a while. I have a 08 LMM that I just put a Banks six gun PDA. I recorded a 0-60 time of 6.06 in two wheel drive with about 2-3 pounds of boost at takeoff on level 6.I am still playing with SL setting (level 7).I've not made my mind up totally on how well i like this product yet. I will post more info .

It seems like the banks wants to regen. more often then the Hypertech max energy I had on before.I actually regened 2 times in one day.I was hammering the crap out of the truck, but I was still suprised to do it twice.I know it it doing it because my egts go up and my mileage goes down to like 10 mpg. Also, while regen your boost is limited to like 27-28 lbs. I have seen a max of 38 lbs on level 6.I like the ease of changing levels. I will be towing my 8500lb toy hauler soon and will post some mileage numbers. If anyone else has any ideas on specific settings for the SL let me know. I am also trying to gather info on weather or not I can stack my hypertech.Any info would help.

I threw one code when I was playing around with the speed loader setting.I was able to clear it and everything was ok.I willl be towing about 4000lbs for 500 miles each way this wednesday.I will play with the different levels(1-4)and let everyone know the mileage.I will be driving between 65-70.I will be hauling our toy hauler in about 2 weeks which is 8500-9000lbs. I will give those mileage numbers as well.I will only go up to level 3 with that weight, and will be towing at 60-65.

FYI-I was playing around the other day and ran a 0-60 of 6.02 and a 1/4 time of [email protected] was happy with that mph,but i cant get out in two wheel drive.I still have like 2.5 sec 60 ft.

I went to the track over the weekend with my 08 with the power PDA. On level seven (SL) I smoked all 4 through 1st gear and ran a 14.49 at 93 mph. I drove from Utah and ran it at the track in Phoenix. The dash said I got 20.8 mpg on level 5 but the calculator said 20.1 mpg. Mine has thrown a few codes but it is easy to reset. Banks is working on fixing the problem. I love it because it helped out my gas mileage 2 mpg on the highway.

When I try to use SL it seems like the trans doesnt shift quite right and it builds egts too fast and throws an alert and trys to back down.I swear my truck is faster on level 6. How high was you accelerator pump setting on those runs?Did you change it?What did you build your front end up with to keep your tie rods from folding like mine? Are you running stock tires?I have 285/75/16 on for the winter, but this summer I will put the 305/55/20 back on.

I watched him run and it is a completely stock truck except for the 6gun and intake.

I didn't change the accelerator pump at all and my tie rods are still stock. I know they bend easy because my dad folded his up on his 03 but I still have stock tires so it should be alright. Mine didn't shift very good at first but I drove around town for a week on SL till the tranny learned when to shift.

When you ran that 14.49,you did a 4 wheel drive launch?Did you leave it in 4 HI the whole run, or try to flip it to 2?Do you know what RPM or how much boost you launched at?I'm going to get bigger tie rods, maybe cognito, but still nervous to boost 4 launch. My front end CRIPPLED itself with the 305's.

I just got home from the trip to Kentucky and figured that my mileage was only 11.0-11.5 for the whole trip.I used level 3 some of the time and level 4 the rest.I had the cruise set at 70 the whole way.I never really noticed any difference in mileage.I was towing approx. 4000 lbs.My truck has 11000 miles on it.Most of the first half of my trip from IN was flat, but the second got kind of hilly in KY.I am a little disappointed with the mileage. I thought I would get at least 13. I guess either everyone I talk to lies about how good their mileage is or mine just sucks.I am scared to see what kind of mileage I get with my 9000lb toy hauler.I guess I'll find out this weekend.

What kind of load were you towing. It isn't so much the weight but the drag. I get horrible mileage towing my Bronco but it is lifted on a tall trailer so it has a lot of drag.

I was towing a flat snowmobile trailer 8x20 with 5 4 wheelers on it. The load wasnt any taller than my truck.I figured the weight of the trailer plus the quads.
