Mine didn't shift very good at first but I drove around town for a week on SL till the tranny learned when to shift.
Just remember to be careful with the changing on the fly. The Allison has a memory of its own and takes time to learn and relearn the different calibrations and ****f points. If you change on the fly too much it can get confused and change gears for no reason. A buddie od mine "had" the Edge juice with attitude and he changed on the fly too much over a short period of time and confused the Allison, it didnt have time to relearn the new setting it was changed to. He was doing 75 in 5th gear and it went straight to 1st! Destroyed the rear end, twisted his drive shaft in two, busted the transfer case in half, and bent the output shaft on the tranny and some more internal stuff!:damnit Cost him 5 grand and a month with out his truck! The day he got it back he ripped the edge out. He bought a PPE the next day! My opinion... Banks is ****!! When you buy Banks your paying for the name not the quality of the product. Trust me... been there done that!

FYI-I was playing around the other day and ran a 0-60 of 6.02 and a 1/4 time of [email protected] was happy with that mph,but i cant get out in two wheel drive.I still have like 2.5 sec 60 ft.
Does yours not shut off a 95? I know mine does but I can only do 93 in the quarter mile at the track running a 14.4.

I have a HYpertech max energy that I ran Before the banks.I am using it onlyfor rasing the top speed,and fixing the tire size to my speedo.I can bury it on the speedo.I ran a run today that by the banks said I was going 132mph.I am still waitiong on any ifo to let me know if I can stack it with my banks,if only to put it on level 1 to add about 40 hp,or whatever It would give me in combo.I really liked the Hyper.I only got the banks to be able to change on the fly.It was rated at 91/164.Sometimes i think it might have been faster than my banks.It also seems like I regened less with it.I am still having trouble on the SL setting.My truck will make too many egt by 60 mph the alert will start going off.Ive done runs in both and it is faster on level 6 so far.I guess the 110 advertised hp isnt working for me.The way I see it i got more out of the Hyper.wtf!!

CANNOT stack them,just tried it and way too much timing.I only puy the Hyper. on 1 and could already tell.Still using it for the other things.

could you stack the ppe on the banks raise the rev limiter, have the change on the fly, lots of power. i believe in the banks i have a buddy with a lbz it works great looks good and has had nothing but good luck, with it, not a big fan of the ppe i had a lly with a pred, and a friend with a lbz with a ppe and it did have near the sack mine did. but i want to shut the regen off and cut the exhaust off mine and get some real **** on it. so i can get better than 15.6 mpg. its getting old really fast power is one thing ****ty millage is another along with 4.00 dollar fuel. the government needs to stay out of **** they dont know anything about.

you can run that just on the DPF delete file w/ no power added or just add 40hp.
Kyle I talked to you on the phone about stacking my banks with your Quad for the DPF delete.You told me I could run only the delete program,without adding a power tune.That info is incorrect.You said you called Quad while you had me on hold,and told me that info again.As soon as we hung up I called Quad with the number you gave me and they told me NO i had to at least run the lowest tune (40) to get DPF delete.That was actually the 3rd call I had made in this reference to be sure.Im not sure how our info could be so different,but it is.I want to purchase this product for the delete,but I am scared to add a tune due to the extra timing that would be involved.If you have any other contacts,or info relating to this,I would like to hear it.Im just glad I did my own research too.Any ideas on the timing issue??Just nervous to throw too much in.

that's crazy did you speak to the same guy i did? i'm calling again now to see what answer i get....

i still don't think that 40hp is going to be too much timing, i run my quad on 70hp and the edge on 5 and it's fine.
I tried to run my hyper on level 1 with my banks,30-40 hp,and once i got my banks up yo level 5-6 it threw my truck into limp mode.I'm ready to ditch it all and get a Stealth or PPE for the delete and strait pipe it.Trans go Jr. coming too.Any reason to buy the Stealth over the PPE???(Hot race LMM)

I towed the toy hauler which I thinkl was closer to 10,000 loaded up.I got between 8.5-8.8 most of the trip.I towed on level 3 the whole time.It had plenty of power,but I was hoping for 10mpg.My truck now has around 12,000 miles on it.I have 305/55/20 and leveled the front.I hope it just isnt broke in yet,and my mileage will go up,but I'm not too confidant.

thanks for all the info. i talked to a parts guy at the dealership where i bought the truck. he had the bully dog and now has the banks. he says he loves the banks. says he has no problems so far. helped out the milage also if he can keep his foot out of the fan :damnit

The banks is going bye bye.I ordered a Stealth 2 w/Dpf delete option.It is rated at 135 at the wheels. I also have a trans go jr. coming.I decided on the mbrp turbo back exhaust for an 06 LBZ.Hopefully I will be happy with the performance and mileage.I know my egts will go down without all that restriction.

i just got efilive in my truck and i asked about stacking the chips, and its a big no no it will tear ur motor up some how is what the diesel shop told me. if you are going to chip ur truck the best thing to do after is take the exhaust off or else it will run bad and get bad mpg, b/c it will just clog up whats on it, and it will breathe worse.

I dont know what will help you because I only got 11 towing 4K at 70-75mph on mostly level ground with my six gun PDA. That mileage was an average over the whole 850 mile trip.Not that impressive for the money spent.Thats why I ditched it and went with the stealth 2 . I just went 300 miles and got 15.3 towing 3K at 65mph.

You would be supprised at what the 10mph & 1K pounds will do! Stock I noticed a difference between towing accross Ohio at 65 and going up into Michigan towing 75-80, so I'm sure the same holds true for it with a chip.
