Water heater screws into back of oil cooler on my 3406E and an oil heater in pan.
Im sure there are more, and probably better setups? :happymugs

I got that Wolverine 500 W immersion pan heater. Replaces a drain plug. High quality, made by Tempco. Engine feels like I just shut it down an hour ago.

Fixin to do a product review thread about it and my battery heater too. But gotta get ready today for load tomorrow a.m.

Most likely, you already have the probe in the oil cooler bonnet. At the rear of the cooler, pointing down towards bottom of frame rail.
