Bout to inframe 2003 c12 and didn’t want to mess with cam but #2 and 5 injector lobe worn pretty bad how hard to get cam out? And any other pointer’s appreciated

Since you will already have the head off it will be easy to remove the roller lifters. After that you will need to remove the front gear cover. The cam is held in by a long bolt on the left rear of the engine. This bolt is what controls the end play of the camshaft. Should be a 12 point headed bolt just below the deck of the block. Might need a friend to help hold up one end of the cam to get it out. Good luck.
