I found a set of cheap snow tires I plan on using just in the winter for plowing, I do very little driving otherwise some expressway mostly arround town.

Dayton Winterforce M+S Size: 265/75SR16 114S SL

Max load: 2601 lbs.
Max PSI: 44psi

Would I be overloading the tires with the weight of the truck (reg-cab longbox) and 900lb plow and 800lbs of sand in the bed?

I would just make sure and don't be going 105 on the back roads like me. I have bridgestone dualers on my truck with a western V-plow and 1000lbs of semi brake drums in the back. It gets to 100 without a prob and she keeps chugging....o yea....no chip.....STOCK POWER:D

I think for 65/ea I can't really go wrong. if I blow one, I get another.

They'll be on an extra set of steel wheels so I really don't worry about scuffing up the rim if it blows.

You talked me into it. we'll see how they do.
